These are difficult times and we all need tools to help manage the stress and anxiety we are feeling in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The City has put together the following links and resources, but this is just a start! If you have something to add, please email email@example.com.
Our stress increases when we are worried about the future. Yes, there’s lots to worry about right now, but stressing over things that haven’t yet happened wastes our energy and takes us away from being present to what’s in front of us today. When you find yourself having stressful thoughts, ask yourself if it’s something you can do anything about right now. If not, take some deep breaths and remind yourself to focus on this day, and keep taking it one day at a time.
