Masks are required indoors in public places for all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, with limited exceptions, starting August 3, 2021, at 12:01 am.
As of data updated on October 13, 2021, Alameda County is utilizing a view of the State’s vaccination data that improves how first and second doses are matched to a person. The number and percentage of people fully vaccinated, therefore, increased starting on October 13 as a result of the number of partially vaccinated decreasing. The implementation of this change is retroactive, so data in the past will reflect this update, too.
