Request for Proposal: Emergency and Abandoned Vehicle Towing

The City of Alameda is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations for the towing and storage of vehicles from public and private property as directed by authorized representatives of the Alameda Police Department. This contract will commence December 1, 2020, and last through November 30, 2025.

Proposals may be submitted in person at the Alameda Police Department, or by mail, and must be received by 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Late proposals will not be considered. The City assumes no responsibility for delays caused by delivery service. Postmarking by the due date will not substitute for actual receipt.

Proposal forms can by requested from the City Clerk at her office at City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue, Room 380, Alameda, CA 94501, or by email, clerk@alamedaca.gov. 

QUESTIONS:
All questions related to this contract, prior to opening bids, shall be prepared in writing and transmitted to the attention of Ryan DeRespini, Services Lieutenant, by email only at rderespini@alamedaca.gov.
