Safe Parking and Homeless Day Center at Alameda Point

The City of Alameda is seeking service providers to operate Safe Parking and/or a Homeless Day Center at Alameda Point.

Safe Parking Program

The goal of the Safe Parking Program is to provide individuals experiencing homelessness, who are living in their cars and vans, a place to legally park their vehicles in a safe, secure, sanitary and welcoming environment.

Day Center

The goal of the Day Center is to provide a safe, sanitary, secure and welcoming place for homeless individuals to relax, get information, connect to services, and be supported by staff and peers. The Day Center may offer meals, showers, laundry, computers, phones charging, WiFi, and access to health care and social services. The Day Center will be open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There is a Mandatory Site visit on Wednesday, April 29th at 10:00 at 431 Star Dust, Alameda, CA.

Electronic proposals are due on May 6, 2020 by 2:00 pm. All instructions for submittals are included in the RFP.
