If you would like to request crime statistics for the City of Alameda, the following steps are required for the release of the information. Please allow ten (10) working days to furnish statistics requested.
The Alameda Police Department is concerned for your health and safety, especially during the current shelter in place order. We have closed our in person request window to adhere to social distancing recommendations and to minimize exposure to the coronavirus. We have temporarily suspended in-person services and will be waiving crime statistics request fees. Please call 510-337-8411 for assistance.
To complete a request for crime statistics who will need to provide the following:

Details of statistics being requests - location, crime description, etc.
To request crime statistics within the City of Alameda you will need to print and complete our crime statistics request form. Forms must be returned in person along with a $41 processing fee.

Once your form has been received by the Records Department in person, 1555 Oak St., your request will be processed. You will be notified when documents are available for pick up. Please allow ten (10) working days to furnish information requested.
