The Alameda Police Department offers Live Scan and ink card fingerprinting services to both residents and non-residents by appointment only.
Services are by appointment only, please book appointments with an Alameda Police Live Scan Technician by calling 510-337-8439.
Live Scan and ink card fingerprinting services are offered Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
You must provide a government-issued photo ID upon arrival to your appointment.
Students with only school ID must come with their parent who possesses an acceptable form of ID. Temporary DMV printouts or similar ID's will not be accepted for any reason or at any time.
A processing fee will be required depending on the type of fingerprinting service requested, this is in addition to potential DOJ, FBI, and COJ CACHI fees. Fees are subject to change.
Payments can be made in cash, check or Visa/Mastercard.

Non-resident - $45
All Alameda schools, Non-profits, etc. - $31.00
Ink Fingerprinting Rolling Fees
Resident - $31
$6 for each additional card
Non-resident - $41
$10 for each additional card
