Bill Osborne Model Airplane Field

Established in 1946
The Bill Osborne Model Airplane Field is located at Doolittle Drive and Harbor Bay Parkway on Bay Farm Island

If you stop by on a Saturday or Sunday morning from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, weather permitting, most likely you will meet a member of the Aer-O-Nuts.  You are welcome to ask any questions including how to get started and what the next steps are if you are interested in flying planes.

You must be a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) in order to fly on your own, but as long as you are being assisted by an Aer-O-Nut member, you can fly your aircraft.

Control line aircraft is only allowed on this field.  Control line planes are tethered to the pilot.  Radio controlled planes are not allowed on this field.
For more information, send an email to Randy Bush, President of the Aer-O-Nuts, at rbush88@juno.com.
