City Seeks Proposals for Public Art

The City of Alameda released a new request for proposals (RFP) for Cultural Art and Arts programming. This includes grants for the performing arts, literary arts, film & video, education, and special events. There is a total of $20,000 available, to be distributed in grants up to $5,000.

 

The RFP is available on the City’s website (https://alamedaca.gov/business/bids/5911). The City will host an RFP Orientation on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue, third floor. Proposals are due September 13, 2018, and the selection process is expected to take place in the fall/winter of 2018.

 

All cultural arts programming must be free, publically accessible, and located in the City of Alameda.

The American Landscape, March 2019, Sacred and Profane

"The American Landscape" will be a free, multidisciplinary choral event bringing together both visual and performing arts on the theme of the American Landscape.
