  • Alameda 4th of July 5K Run starts at 9:00 am - this event benefits the Midway Shelter of Alameda
  • The Parade begins at 10:00 am.

Alameda's 4th of July Parade is the longest in the nation with a route that spans 3.3 miles, attracting more than 170 entries and 2,500 participants. The Parade draws over 60,000 spectators from the region and entries include a full spectrum of Bay Area residents, including equestrians, dance troops, floats, antique cars, community groups, transported and marching bands from both the community and local schools, and more!

PLEASE NOTE: THE JULY 4TH PARADE ROUTE HAS BEEN CHANGED DUE TO PAVING AND REPAIRS ON ENCINAL AVE. The Parade will now march down Central Avenue. Cars must be removed along the parade route at 4am July 4. Parking will be allowed on Encinal Ave on July 4.
