Harbor Bay Isle Lagoon Improvements Project

The City of Alameda Public Works Departments is soliciting bids for the Harbor Bay Isle Lagoon Improvements Project, No. P.W. 07-21-28.

The bid opening date is Thursday, October 7, 2021.  All bids are due no later than 2:30 p.m. to the City Hall West, Public Works Department, Alameda Point, Building 1, 950 West Mall Square, Room 110, Alameda, CA 94501.  The bid opening time is 2:31 p.m.

The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work: Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with the Harbor Bay Isle Lagoon stormwater control system including all demolition work including handling and legal disposal of lead containing materials, structural concrete repair and new concrete work, coating of concrete surfaces, new chain link fencing, new galvanized grating, installation of a new owner-furnished gate actuator, new level control instruments, installation of owner-furnished electrical enclosures and controls, all electrical improvements, testing, site restoration, temporary controls, and all other work as shown on the Plans and as called for in the Special Provisions and as directed by the Engineer.

This Project is situated in the following City facility locations on Bay Farm Island:

 Lagoon 1 North Outlet (San Leandro Channel)
 Lagoon 1 Safeway Monitoring Station (Safeway Plaza)
 Lagoon 1 South Inlet (Shoreline Park)

Approximate cost of construction: $250,000

There will be no prebid meeting for this Project.

Please note that the Alameda City Council encourages all contractors and other businesses providing services to the City to hire Alameda residents, pursuant to City Resolution No. 12278.
