Posey Tube Overnight Closure For Maintenance Work - Sept. 11, 2024

Traffic Advisory: Caltrans has scheduled an overnight closure of the Posey Tube September 11. The closure is overnight only. The tube will be open in the daytime. The Webster and Posey tubes connect the cities of Alameda and Oakland.

The Posey Tube will close at 10 p.m. Wednesday, September 11 and reopen at 4:30 a.m. the following morning.

The Webster Tube will remain open.

Webster Tube - Two Separate Overnight-Only Closures Sept. 3 & 4, 2024

Caltrans has scheduled to close the State Route 61 Webster Tube overnight Tuesday, September 3, re-opening the following morning. The next day, Wednesday, September 4, the tube will again close overnight, reopening the following morning.

The closures are for maintenance purposes. The tube will be open in the daytime. The Webster and Posey tubes connect the cities of Alameda and Oakland.
