Elected to the City Council in 2024, Greg is an Alameda County prosecutor with over 20 years of criminal justice experience.  He has specialized in human trafficking, consumer protection, juvenile justice, and domestic violence.  Greg also has private sector experience as a business attorney and as a general counsel for a small airline.

A fifth-generation Alamedan, Greg attended Edison Elementary School, Lincoln Middle School, and Alameda High School.  He served on boards for Alameda Meals on Wheels, the Alameda Boys and Girls Club, and the Alameda Home Ownership Committee.  For four years, Greg promoted equity and advances in healthcare as a public health commissioner for Alameda County.

Greg earned degrees in political science at UC Davis, law at Georgetown University, and public administration at Harvard University.

Greg’s legislative priorities include public safety, economic development, housing, transportation, and environmental resilience.
