Posey Tube Full Overnight Closures for Maintenance Work Dec 6-10

ALAMEDA COUNTY — Caltrans has scheduled to close the Posey Tube (State Route 61) overnight on Monday, Dec. 6 through Friday, Dec. 10 to perform tunnel maintenance. The tube will be closed overnight only.

The tube will be open during the daytime. The overnight closures will begin at 10 p.m. and end at 4:30 a.m. the next morning. The tube will be closed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.

The Webster Tube will remain open.

Traffic Control Measures:

Changeable message and directional signs are in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be at the site during the closures.
