Cascada de Flores: Story, Song & Dance Presents
Una Ofrenda Musical - A Musical Altar for Our Muertos at the Main Library

The Alameda Free Library is pleased to welcome Cascada de Flores on Wednesday, November 2nd at 3:30pm! Participants of all ages are invited to dance and sing with Cascada de Flores on a musical journey sharing Días de Muertos traditions from Mexico and Central America. Together we will send messages for our muertitos on barriletes (kites), learn about calaveras (sugar skulls), and build an ofrenda (altar) with music, dance and memories.

This free, 45 minute family presentation is brought to you by the Friends of the Alameda Free Library. It will take place in the Stafford Room at the Main Library on Wednesday, November 2nd at 3:30pm. No registration is required.

Alameda Free Library is located at 1550 Oak Street and is wheelchair accessible. The Main Library is served by AC Transit routes 21 and 51A. Bicycle parking racks are available at the library. For more information on this and other library programs, visit
