Alameda Police Month in Review December 2025

The following incidents represent a selection of the police activity that took place in December 2025. A complete monthly summary can be found at www.alamedaca.gov/data.

Robbery: On 12/1 at 9:00 am, officers responded to the 1700 block of Webster Street for a silent alarm activation. Two customers assaulted another patron after a verbal dispute. The suspects fled with the victim’s property. After identifying the suspects, officers responded to a residence in the 600 block of Taylor Avenue at 4:49 pm. Both suspects were located and arrested. The victim sustained minor injuries and was released at the scene. #25-06728

Stolen Vehicle Recovery: On 12/5 at 12:17 pm, an Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) notification alerted an officer to a stolen vehicle in the South Shore Shopping Center. After arresting the driver inside of a nearby store, officers located security tag removers in the driver's possession, likely preventing an additional crime. Officers located numerous vehicle keys inside of the stolen car, including a device that is used to aid thieves in vehicle thefts. #25-06815

Burglary: On 12/5 at 11:04 pm, officers responded to the 100 block of Singleton Avenue for an alarm activation at an Alameda Unified School District storage facility. Officers established a perimeter and subsequently arrested a subject on the property. The same suspect was previously arrested for burglary at this location in October. #25-06808

Robbery: On 12/19 at 2:12 pm, officers responded to the 1300 block of Park Street for the report of an armed robbery. An individual entered a business, brandished a firearm, and demanded money from an employee. The suspect attempted to commit a robbery at a second location, but they were unsuccessful. Within minutes, officers located and arrested the individual as they attempted to flee. #25-07085

Traffic Enforcement: APD officers issued 92 traffic citations and 155 traffic warnings.
