Request for Proposals for Police Boat

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2019, for purchase of a police patrol boat and trailer. 

Plans and specifications for furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work may be had by any prospective bidder upon request to the Alameda Police Department at 1555 Oak Street, Alameda, California 94501.  If any questions, please contact Lieutenant David Pascoe at (510) 337-8374.

Bids must be presented to Lieutenant David Pascoe, Marine Patrol Commander, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, “Alameda Police Department, Marine Patrol Unit”.

Contract, if awarded, will be to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best proposal.  The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.  The Alameda City Council encourages all contractors and other businesses providing services to the City to hire Alameda businesses, pursuant to City Resolution No. 12278.

Bids will be opened at the Alameda Police Department, office of the Marine Patrol Commander, 1555 Oak Street Alameda, California 94501.

Responses should be submitted by mail or in person by 5:00 pm on September 30, 2019.

Bids must be sent under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, “Alameda Police Department, Marine Patrol Unit”.
