Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is the City of Alameda’s not‐for‐profit electric municipal utility, serving residents and businesses for 132 years. AMP provides power to more than 34,000 customers at rates that average 17 percent below neighboring communities.

Nico Procos, General Manager

Nicolas Procos is General Manager of AMP, Alameda's 132-year-old electric utility. He is proud of AMP's decades-long commitment to clean power, which will result in a 100% carbon neutral energy supply starting in 2020. Mr. Procos is deeply committed to keeping electric rates low in Alameda.
