Climate Action and Resiliency Plan Greenhouse Gas Reduction Progress

Alameda’s Climate Action and Resiliency Plan (CARP) sets the ambitious goal of equitably reducing community wide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 50% below 2005 levels by 2030 and achieving net zero carbon emissions. As part of the mid-cycle CARP update, a new GHG emissions inventory was developed for 2022, the latest year for which complete data was available.
