Harbor Bay Bus Stops and Ferry Terminal Improvements

The Harbor Bay Business Park Bus Stops and Ferry Terminals project is now complete. This project upgraded the bus shelter stops and signage. It removed the classic bus shelters and replaced them with modern ones. It also upgraded the Ferry Terminal Parking Lot to the latest accessibility requirements.  

January 2026: Installation of new bus shelters for Harbor Bay shuttle stops

July 26 through August 23, 2025: Construction at ferry terminal and Harbor Bay shuttle stops

Summer 2025: City Council awarded Construction Contract

Spring 2025: Notice to Construction Bidders

2024: City Staff began design on the Ferry Terminal Parking Lot Improvements

2022: Early planning and design began.

Progress

The Construction Agreement was awarded by City Council on July 15, 2025.

 

Work began July 26, 2025.

 

Construction in Ferry Terminal Parking Lot was substantially completed in August 2025.

 

Construction of bus shelters was substantially completed in January 2026.
