Announcement

On Monday, November 13, 2023, a portion of the grass area on the Encinal Avenue side of Chochenyo Park will be removed so we can put in drought tolerant plants. In addition, two replacement trees will be planted as well.

Established in 1895

Chochenyo Park is located at 2430 Encinal Avenue (Park Avenue between San Jose and Encinal Avenues)

NEW COMMUNITY GATHERING SPACE:
This "log garden" is a 50-foot diameter circle, located near Encinal Avenue, and is a nature based design of logs sourced from Alameda parks placed in a circular layout to create a community gathering space.
