The IHSS Program is designed to provide assistance with day-to-day activities to older adults and individuals with disabilities, who without this service, would be unable to remain safely in their home. Alameda’s Housing and Human Services Division, in partnership with Rebuilding Together East Bay Network, is accepting applications for their residential rehabilitation programs. To be eligible, the applicant must be a low or moderate income homeowner, and the home must be owner occupied. Priority will be given to applicants with an urgent health or safety accessibility need, including seniors and individuals with disabilities.

• The Minor Home Modification Grant Program helps eligible individuals make essential modifications to their homes with grants up to $5,000.

• The Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program offers financial and technical assistance to homeowners for emergency repairs up to $15,000.
