Flags have been lowered to half‑staff in honor of Nancy Lee Bronstein, who served the City of Alameda as Human Resources Director from 2016 to 2022 and as Interim City Manager from September 2022 until her retirement on November 4, 2022.

The Transportation Commission advises City Council on City transportation plans and policies, monitors implementation of approved plans, and other tasks according to the Transportation Commission bylaws(PDF, 41KB).
