Grab your neighbors and join the conversation about protecting the East End's shoreline. We want your ideas!

This Focus Group meeting is part of the development of the Alameda Shoreline Adaptation Plan.

What to Expect

A report-out on what's at risk from coastal flooding and sea level rise in the East End
A hands-on discussion of potential adaptation strategies — the options being considered to protect homes, businesses, and infrastructure on the East End
Opportunities to share your knowledge of the neighborhood, evaluate the strategies, and ask questions directly to the project team
Learn about the City’s Shoreline Adaptation Plan and how neighborhood adaptation strategies will be incorporated into the plan.
