AC Transit accepting applications for Parcel Tax Fiscal Oversight Committee
Dear Community Leaders,
AC Transit is currently accepting applications to fill two vacancies on its Parcel Tax Fiscal Oversight Committee.
The Committee reviews the most recent fiscal year-end annual audit and ensures funds generated by AC Transit’s parcel tax measures are expended per the intentions of the voters. It also provides a report of its findings to the Board of Directors on an annual basis.
Committee members serve in a voluntary capacity with a three-year term of office and are subject to reappointment by the Board of Directors. A general understanding of basic accounting principles and experience in interpreting financial documents are highly desirable.
