The Alameda County Superior Court is seeking civic-minded residents to serve for one year on the Alameda County Civil Grand Jury. The Jury’s primary responsibility is to examine and report on the operations of local government agencies and to investigate complaints, acting as the public’s watchdog.
Participation on the Civil Grand Jury is a significant commitment, with at least two meetings per week in Oakland for one year. To be considered for this year’s term beginning July 1, 2022, nominations must be received by April 15, 2022.
