Armed Robbery: On 3/7 at 3:03 pm, officers responded to the 700 block of Central Avenue for the report of an armed robbery. A victim was sitting in their car when they were approached by two subjects. The subjects displayed a firearm and demanded the victim’s property before leaving the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment. The investigation is ongoing. #24-01674

Commercial Burglary: On 3/8 at 4:49 am, officers responded to the Nob Hill Aisle 1 Gas Station for the report of a burglary. Officers found the front doors had been breached and an ATM was missing. At approximately 4:54 am, officers recovered the ATM in a neighboring jurisdiction. The investigation is ongoing as officers continue to follow up on leads. #24-01686

Vehicle and Bicyclist Collision: On 3/21 at 3:21 pm, officers responded to the 3000 block of Encinal Avenue for the report of a collision involving a person driving a vehicle and a pedestrian. A motorist was exiting their vehicle when they opened their door and struck a juvenile bicyclist. The bicyclist sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. #24-01995

Hit and Run Collision: On 3/21 at 5:52 pm, officers responded to the intersection of Grand Street and Pacific Avenue for the report of a hit-and-run collision involving a person driving a vehicle and a pedestrian in a wheelchair. The pedestrian was struck as they were attempting to cross the street. The driver fled the scene. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. On 3/27, the driver was arrested for felony hit-and-run. #24-02002

Vehicle and Pedestrian Collision: On 3/27 at 1:58 pm, officers responded to the intersection of Tilden Way and Buena Vista Avenue for the report of a collision involving a person driving a vehicle and a pedestrian. A motorist attempting to make a right-hand turn struck a pedestrian who was in the crosswalk. The pedestrian declined medical attention. #24-02135

Traffic Enforcement: APD officers issued 231 traffic citations and 106 warnings.
