Join Alameda Mayor Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft, California Assemblymember Mia Bonta, and Mayors & Counties for a Guaranteed Income for the highly anticipated premiere of the award-winning It's Basic documentary. Following the film, Mayor Ashcraft will moderate a roundtable discussion with Assemblymember Bonta and guaranteed income program recipients, as they talk about the impact of receiving monthly direct cash payments.

The film explores the power of cash and the importance of dignity through the eyes of guaranteed income recipients who have experienced firsthand the transformative effects of financial stability.
