Community Meeting #2 on Alameda’s Rent Stabilization Program
Thursday, June 6 | 6:30 – 8:30 pm | Elks Lodge 

The City of Alameda invites you to attend a community event to collect public input on potential amendments to the Rent Stabilization Ordinance, including:

  • Multi-unit property maximum allowable rent increase amount
  • Single-family homes and condominium rent increase review
  • Petition process for rent increase appeals
  • Relocation assistance
  • Rent registry
  • Capital Improvement Plans
  • Tenant buy-out agreements
  • Other issues

WHEN: Thursday, June 6, 2019

  • 6:30 pm: Presentation on potential amendments
  • 7:00 pm: Community feedback and individual voting

WHERE: The Elks Lodge (Rathskeller Basement), 2255 Santa Clara

Community members can drop in at any time, all ideas are welcome. This event is the second outreach opportunity for the public to provide input to inform the City's next steps regarding potential changes to the City's Rent Stabilization program regulations.
