Overnight Closures Scheduled for Webster Tube (State Route 260) for Maintenance work

Alameda County – Due to maintenance work and to ensure the safety of crews and the public, Caltrans will implement the following closures in the Webster Tunnel (Oakland–Alameda) starting tonight: Nightly Webster Tube Closures-This week Monday, February 2nd to Wednesday Febbruary 4th. 2026.

• One lane closed from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM

• Full Webster tunnel closure from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM

• One lane closed from 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Nights.

During this time, motorists are advised to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Crews will be performing roadway joint work to maintain the tunnel infrastructure and ensure safe operations. Posey Tube will remain open.
