Overnight Closure of Webster Tube (State Route 61) for Fire Drill Exercise Starting at 10:00 PM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025

ALAMEDA COUNTY — Caltrans will temporarily close the Webster Tube (State Route 61) connecting Oakland and Alameda on the night of Tuesday, June 10, 2025, to conduct a scheduled fire drill exercise.

Closure Details

• Date: Tuesday, June 10, 2025

• Time: 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM

• Location: Webster Tube (Oakland to Alameda)

The Webster Tube will be closed overnight only and reopen by early morning. The tunnel will remain open during daytime hours.
