Overnight Closures Scheduled for Posey Tube (State Route 61)
Friday, September 12 to Saturday, September 13, 2025

ALAMEDA COUNTY-Caltrans will perform an overnight closure of the Posey Tunnel on Friday, September 12, 2025, to Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM for painting. To ensure the safety of crews and the public, the Posey Tube will be closed Friday night through Saturday morning from 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM. During this time, motorists are advised to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time.
