Clement Avenue / Tilden Way Improvement Project, P.W. No. 04-25-14.
The City of Alameda (“City”) will accept sealed bids for its Clement Avenue / Tilden Way Improvement Project, (“Project”) on before June 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the City’s Public Works Office, located at 950 West Mall Square, Suite 110, Alameda, CA 94501 at which time the bids will be publicly opened. No bids will be accepted unless submitted on the Bid Proposal and Schedule Form provided in the Project Manual.
The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work:
Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with the work to be performed under these specifications. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to: mobilizing/demobilizing, traffic and pedestrian control, water pollution control, temporary construction staging, construction staking, removal of concrete, asphalt concrete pavement, and base, pavement markings, drainage facilities, fencing, railroad platforms, contaminated material, and railroad track and ties; clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, adjusting utility covers to grade, concrete improvements including sidewalks, driveways, curb and gutters, and curb ramps; aggregate base, asphalt improvements; installing culverts, storm drains, bioswales, storm drains, sanitary sewers, thermoplastic striping and markings, signs, mulch, landscape planting, trees, irrigation, privacy fence, decomposed granite, park furnishing, traffic signal modification, lighting, and communication system.
This Project is situated on the following City streets:
- Tilden Way, between Buena Vista Avenue and Miller Sweeny Bridge
- Blanding Avenue, between Broadway and Tilden Way
- Broadway, between Tilden Way and Blanding Avenue
- Fernside Boulevard, between Tilden Way and Versailles Avenue.
Approximate cost of construction: $7.66 million

There will be no pre-bid meeting for this Project. There is a non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting scheduled for May 19, 2025 at 10:00am.
