RFP: Chuck Corica Golf Course Parking Lot Improvements

DUE TO THE CURRENT ORDER TO SHELTER IN PLACE THE CITY OF ALAMEDA WILL BE EXTENDING THE DUE DATE OF THIS RFP. 

The bid opening for Contract 02-20-12 is still scheduled for April 9, 2020 at 2:01 PM. Bids are due at City Hall West. Please note that Addendum #1 has been issued. Please see below for instructions for person bid submission.


IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDERS:

IN PERSON BID SUBMISSION: Bids for Contract 02-20-12 will only be accepted in person on THURSDAY, APRIL 9, 2020 FROM 9:00 AM TO 2:00 PM. Please note that City Hall West is closed to the general public. Bidders dropping off bids in person on the April 9, 2020 will have to ring the doorbell. Public Works staff will be on site to accept bids. Bidders will be asked to wait outside of the building until the bid opening time.

BY MAIL: The City will accept bids received by mail until April 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM.

BID OPENING: Bidders will be asked to maintain at least 6 feet of distance from one another. Bids will be opened and announced in the lobby of City Hall West at 2:01PM. Bidders will be asked to leave the building after bids are opened.

Bid results will be posted on the website. Please check this website for bid tabulations.

The City of Alameda is soliciting bids for the Chuck Corica Golf Course Parking Lot Improvements Project, P.W. No. 02-20-12.  The project will include but is not limited to the following work: storm drain pipe and storm drain inlet installation, asphalt pavement repair; chip seal; Type II slurry seal; Striping and pavement marking installation.

INTERPRETATION OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS

If any person contemplating the submission of a bid for the proposed construction finds discrepancies in or omissions from, or is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Plan and/or Specifications, he or she shall request an interpretation in writing, on or before 5:00PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Any interpretation or correction will be issued as an Addendum by the Engineer. Only a written interpretation or correction by Addendum is binding.

No Pre-bid meeting is required.
