The City of Alameda is issuing an RFQ-RFP for the Progressive Design-Build services related to the Alameda Aquatic Center Project, No. P.W. 11-23-29.
The RFQ-RFP response due date is January 30, 2024. All RFQ-RFP responses are due no later than 2:00 p.m. to the City of Alameda, Public Works Department, 950 West Mall Square, Room 110, Alameda, attention: Mr. Jack Dybas, Project Manager. See RFP-RFQ for additional information and instructions.
Printed or electronic copies of the RFQ-RFP may be obtained from BPX Printing & Graphics located at 4903 Central Avenue, Richmond, CA 94804 for a non-refundable cost of $70 per package, exclusive of shipping and handling. Copies of the RFQ-RFP documents may be viewed and ordered at https://www.alamedaplanroom.com or by contacting BPX at (510) 559-8299 or at Richmond@bpxprinting.com. To ensure receipt of any subsequent communications (e.g., Addenda), each prospective Design-Build proposer is responsible for confirming that their team appears on the BPX RFQ-RFP holders’ list.
Please note that the Alameda City Council encourages all Design-Builders, contractors and other businesses providing services to the City to hire Alameda residents, pursuant to City Resolution No. 12278. “The City of Alameda is a charter City and any contracts into which the City enters may be subject to the provisions of its charter, which may supersede certain provisions of the Public Contract Code and other provisions of state law”.
A mandatory meeting and site tour will be held at the project site. Proposers to meet at Jean Sweeney Open Space Park, 1100 Atlantic Ave., Alameda, CA 94501, at 10:00 am on Wednesday January 3, 2024.
