The City of Alameda is soliciting bids for Streetlight Conduit Replacement Project –Gibbons and Southwood, No. P.W. 04-19-18. The project consists of removing and replacing streetlight conduits, conductors, streetlight pull boxes, streetlight foundations, and other items shown to be constructed on the contract drawings or specifications, including repair, and reconstruction of existing improvements affected by the Work, and incidentals for complete and usable facility.
The Engineer’s construction cost estimate is $680,000.
The Prime Contractor must possess a valid California Class A contractor’s license.

The bid opening date is May 1, 2019. All bids are due no later than 1 p.m. to the Public Works Department, City Hall West, 950 W. Mall Square, Room 110, Alameda, CA 94501. All bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and marked on the outside as follows “STREETLIGHT CONDUIT REPLACEMENT – GIBBONS AND SOUTHWOOD NO. P.W. 04-19-18.” Any bids received after the scheduled closing date and time for receipt of bids shall be returned unopened.
The bid opening time is 1:01 p.m.
