This summer, Alameda becomes part of the global excitement as the International Soccer event comes to the Bay Area and we’re ready to celebrate in a BIG way!
With the Australian Socceroos training right here at the Oakland Roots Practice Facility, Alameda has a unique opportunity to welcome fans, visitors, and soccer lovers from around the world to our beautiful island community.
From watch parties and local business specials to family-friendly activities and citywide scavenger hunts, there will be exciting ways for everyone to join the fun.

Watch Parties Across Alameda
Catch the action live at participating restaurants, breweries, wineries, bars, and community spaces throughout Alameda.
On June 19, 2026, the City will also be hosting its own watch party to view the at its very own Historic Alameda Theater!
Tickets are sold out!! However, there will be watch parties all around the Island at local bars, breweries, tap houses, restaurants and more! Check out the list below and don't miss a game.
