UUT Exemption Forms (Senior and Low Income)

Utility Users Tax Exemption

There is a 2% discount on the Utility Users' Tax available to senior citizens 65 years or older and residents who qualify under the low income guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  You can mail the completed form to:

The exemption discount will be applied 2 billing cycles after receipt of the application.  If you have any questions, please call or email (finance@alamedaca.gov) the Finance Department at (510) 747-4881.
