Project Description: Design Review – The project consists of the renovation of the existing 403 sq. ft. book drop room of the Alameda Free Library to receive a new automatic materials handling system (AMHS), which will be owner furnished, owner installed. To accommodate the new AMHS, the 3 existing exterior book drops at the northwest elevation of the building to be removed and replaced with 2 new exterior drops and a redesigned book drop niche.
