Early 2024: City Staff begins design on the Ferry Terminal Parking Lot Improvements

Timeline for construction at the Ferry Terminal Parking Lot is July 26 through August 23, 2025, with most work taking place on Saturdays except for concrete removal. Work will include accessibility improvements at the parking lot by removing sections of concrete curbs and sidewalks, repaving a section of the parking lot near the Ferry Terminal, repaving the asphalt pathway north of the Ferry Terminal and parking lot restriping. Approximately 25 parking spaces may be temporarily restricted during construction. Parking restrictions (2-hour limit and street sweeping) will not be enforced on the east side of Adelphian Way, between Sweet Way and Mecartney Road during this time. Parking limits and restrictions will remain on all other streets.

Timeline for construction of shuttle stop improvements on Harbor Bay Parkway, North Loop Road, and South Loop Road is July 28 through August 29, 2025, with work taking place on weekdays. Work will include removal of old bus shelters and replacement of concrete pathways to meet accessible standards. New bus shelters are scheduled to be installed early next year due to the long lead time for manufacturing.
