RAP is our supervised Recreation After School Program available to children who are enrolled in ALL-DAY KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 5TH GRADES for the following schools: BAY FARM, EARHART, EDISON, FRANKLIN, LOVE, MAYA LIN, OTIS, PADEN AND RUBY BRIDGES
2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR RAP DATES: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2025 TO THURSDAY, JUNE 4, 2026
***PLEASE NOTE THAT THE RAP PROGRAM STARTS ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2025*** In order for your child to be picked up on the first day of RAP, your child must be registered by FRIDAY, AUGUST 15TH
ONLINE REGISTRATION STARTS ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25, 2025 AT 10:00 AM All new and returning participants are eligible to register

If you are unable to access our online registration system, download the RAP Registration Form (fillable) and return to: arpd@alamedaca.gov. In order for us to process your registration, we will need your credit card information. Phone registration is not available for RAP.
2025 FALL SESSION: You will be required to pay a Non-Refundable Deposit of $25 upon registration.
2026 WINTER & SPRING SESSIONS: In order to continue in RAP for the remainder of the school year, you will need to renew your child's registration online. Parents will be notified by email and given a limited time period when these sessions are open for renewals.
FOR 2025-2026 RAP SCHOOL YEAR:
Meet your RAP Leaders at the pre-designated pick-up areas at the school (see below). All participants will walk back to the park as a group with the RAP Leaders.
Once RAP Staff leaves school grounds for their park site, they cannot return to school for late kids (i.e. field trips, enrichment, etc.) Any kids with bikes, scooters, skateboards or roller blades MUST walk or carry them and obey all traffic laws on the way to the park. Be sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.

All fees must be paid a minimum of 48 business hours in advance before your child is picked up for RAP. You must pay by the published due dates:
Financial Assistance will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to available funding. Please plan accordingly for processing of Financial Assistance request.
To apply, you will need to complete a Financial Assistance Program Application Form. Supporting documents will need to be submitted along with the application. Allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
