Officer Speaking With The Community

The Alameda Police Department invites residents and businesses to attend the All-Island Community Beat Meeting on Tuesday, July 28, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

The evening will begin with a citywide crime overview, where attendees will receive an update on current public safety trends and crime patterns across Alameda.

Following the presentation, community members will break out into their specific police beats to meet directly with their beat officers and commanders to discuss concerns, neighborhood crime trends, and crime prevention strategies unique to their immediate area.

In addition to the meeting, APD will have a variety of specialized equipment and vehicles on display, including:
• Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
• Emergency Response Vehicle
• Crisis Negotiations Vehicle
• And much more

This event is a great opportunity for residents to connect with officers, ask questions, learn more about public safety efforts in Alameda, and engage directly with the department members who serve their neighborhoods.
