Ready to brave the cool waters for Special Olympics Northern California? On March 1, join us for the Bay Area Polar Plunge in Alameda – the first time this exciting event will be held in our beautiful city!

This fun dip into the Bay supports Special Olympic athletes and celebrates community, inclusivity, and FUN! The Polar Plunge is a global tradition where festive supporters splash into chilly waters. But don’t worry, it’s not a swim – it’s a celebration! Whether you dip a toe or go all in, every splash helps raise funds for a great cause.

Not ready to get wet? No problem! Register for the pre-splash run and still enjoy the festivities while raising money for the Special Olympics.

Here’s the kicker: If Team Alameda PD raises $1,000, Chief Joshi will dive in! So let’s rally together and make it happen!

You can participate in the Plunge, the 5K scenic run along the beach, or BOTH! The first 300 runners will receive a commemorative medal at the finish line. Registration is just $45.

Join or donate to team Alameda PD or create your own team. Don’t forget the costumes and come ready to make memories!
