You are invited: Community meeting regarding temporary medical shelter at the Marina Village Inn
WHAT
Alameda County is establishing a temporary medical shelter at the Marina Village Inn to slow community transmission and the spread of COVID-19 at our local congregate shelters. Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 at a local shelter will be moved to this emergency medical shelter and placed in isolation until it is safe for them to return to the shelter. Women and children will be prioritized for placement. Alameda County has contracted with Five Keys to manage the emergency medical shelter, with staff on-site 24/7.
This community meeting is being held remotely to share details about the temporary medical shelter including safety practices and security protocols and allow community members to ask questions and share feedback.
