Please join us for a celebration of the Gateway to California, by Alameda artist Norman Moore. The two mosaic columns, installed at Jean Sweeney Park last spring, symbolize Alameda’s role as a gateway for prospectors and the railroad heading east. Expect to enjoy live music, a dance performance, and a Q&A with the artist.
