Dignity Village Community Meeting - November 13, 2023


The City of Alameda, along with service provider Five Keys Schools and Programs, will host a community meeting at the Bayport Recreation Center at 301 Jack London Ave on Monday, November 13, from 6 to 7 pm to present an update on Dignity Village, the 47 unit interim supportive housing program serving homeless and chronically homeless individuals at 2350 5th Street in Alameda. Advanced registration is strongly encouraged. Please use the following link to register: https://tinyurl.com/yvz77aff, or view the attached flyer for registration details and more information.

Are you interested in getting involved with the Dignity Village community?

  • Five Keys Schools and Programs are looking for workshop facilitators. Share your expertise with residents by volunteering to host a workshop. Current community members are teaching ongoing computer classes. Please contact Brandi Marshall, Director of Housing Services at brandim@fivekeys.org if you have a skill or passion to share and are interested in volunteering.
  • Dignity Village accepts ongoing donations. Please drop your donation off at the site (2350 5th Street, Alameda) Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm. Needed donations are:
  • Unopened ground coffee
  • Creamer
  • Sugar
  • New full and twin size linens
  • New towels
  • New washcloths
  • Laundry detergent
  • Gift cards to local retailers like Safeway and Target
  • Clipper Cards
