Criminal Threats: On 3/2 at 2:46 pm, officers responded to a business in the 1500 block of Oak Street for the report of an individual causing a disturbance. The subject entered the building and made concerning threats to patrons. The suspect was later located near Grand Street and Otis Drive and issued a citation. The individual was also issued a letter of No Trespass, prohibiting them from accessing the property for a period of time. #25-01169
Burglary: On 3/2 at 6:00 pm, officers responded to the 2400 block of Webb Avenue for the report of a burglary. An individual gained access to a property through an unsecured door and removed cash and tools before leaving the scene. On 3/4, members of the San Francisco Police Department located the suspect. The individual was arrested for multiple offenses. #25-01172
Forgery: On 3/25 at 7:32 am, officers responded to the South Shore Shopping Center for the report of an in-progress theft. As officers arrived, the suspect attempted to flee. After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was detained and found to be in possession of multiple forged checks and ID cards. The suspect was arrested, the items were returned to the store, and the victims of the checks and IDs were contacted. #25-01605
False Report: On 3/25 at 8:30 pm, officers responded to the area of Doolittle Drive and Island Drive for the report of a possible carjacking. During the follow up investigation, detectives determined the individual knowingly made a false police report to commit insurance fraud. The individual was arrested on 3/26. #25-01630
Assault: On 3/26 at 9:48 pm, officers responded to the 900 block of Shorepoint Court for the report of an altercation that resulted in the brandishing of a firearm. Due to the heated nature of the call, a plan was developed and multiple officers responded to the scene. Officers contacted the suspect who peacefully surrendered. Two firearms were located and taken for safekeeping. #25-01644
Traffic Enforcement: APD officers issued 621 traffic citations and 323 warnings. There were 8 DUI arrests, 6 of which stemmed from collisions.
