COVID-19 Vaccine Framework

We know many of you have questions about the COVID-19 vaccine. Alameda County’s distribution framework is based on federal and state government guidelines.

The County’s framework has 4 Phases. Phase 1 is divided into 3 groups: 1A, 1B, and 1C. We are currently in Phase 1A, which is divided into three tiers. Vaccinations have begun in the first two tiers and will continue to be administered based on supply. Planning is now happening for Phases 1B and 1C.
