Neptune Beach Surf Club is proposing to construct a Surf Pool at Alameda Point and is seeking community input. A Surf Pool generates waves for surfing and can be used year-round by all skill levels and ages. This innovative concept would be a key feature of the future Enterprise Park, a currently underutilized area that is envisioned to be a vibrant aquatic recreation zone near Encinal Beach, between the Encinal Boat Ramp and the USS Hornet.
Enterprise Park, the working name for this developing space (the park will go through a naming process once it is established), could also include campgrounds, a café or restaurant, and other recreation facilities.
The Neptune Beach Surf Club is eager to engage with the community about this concept. Please join them for a pop-up community meeting on May 17th to learn more!
