Alameda, Calif. – The City of Alameda Free Library, in partnership with the Alameda Unified School District (AUSD), is offering “Student Connect Codes” to AUSD students in grades TK-12. “Student Connect Codes” allow students to automatically have access to the library’s print and electronic resources, all for free with no registration required.
This innovative program allows students to borrow up to 5 physical items, use library computers, and access digital resources, including e-books, e-audiobooks, Tutor.com, Mango Languages, and more. The Connect Code can be used at all Alameda Free Library locations: Main, West End, and Bay Farm Island.
The Main Library is located at 1550 Oak Street. The Main Library is served by AC Transit routes 21 and 51A. Bicycle parking racks are available at the library. Bay Farm Island Library is located at 3221 Mecartney Road. West End Library is located at 788 Santa Clara Avenue. All three locations are wheelchair accessible.
