This Thursday, Sept 5, the Park/Clement intersection signal will be turned off and Clement Ave will be closed from Oak St to Broadway from 7am-7pm. Park St will remain open, but access will be limited and we strongly recommend using an alternative route to avoid delays. This work is part of the Clement Avenue Safety Improvement Project to upgrade traffic signals and install a bike signal that helps cyclists get across the intersection safer. This Saturday, Sept 7, the Contractor is preparing to pave Clement Avenue and some of that prep work will include adjusting utility maintenance access lids. This work will require heavy equipment and machinery. Residents and road users may experience disruptions in travel routes, noise, dust, and temporary loss of parking. It is strongly recommended to use alternative routes when possible. The City appreciates your patience during construction.
